Fresh and Natural Business Portraits {Snoqualmie Natural Light Photography}

I have been working with a fellow small business owner Sharon at Renew You Wellness the past week. She is in North Bend, right on North Bend way. You will see her banner next door to Boxley's. She is a wealth of information about how to get healthy naturally and stay healthy long term (including weight loss). She is a beautiful and intelligent woman and I was honored to work with her last week in capturing images that represent her teaching, zest for life, and commitment to health. Please look her up at https://www.facebook.com/mypurposeandpassion and subscribe to her page for lots of wonderful health and healing information and direction. She often offers free consults for you to try her out. Enjoy a few of her images below and give us a call if you would like to dress up your business pages on the internet or business card! Snow snow and more snow!

We have had the most snow this March as I can remember ever in my life! The last two weeks I think it has snowed every single day. We were excited the first few, but as the days went on, we got a little cranky about it I must admit. However, as the weeks have gone on, we have had it there in the morning and gone before 2. I guess I can live with that type of snow that doesn't affect the roads and we can still get to where we needed to go. One of the days, I got the idea from another photographer, to be sure and look at the bright side and get some pictures of my kids. I dragged little J to the porch and she surprised me with this fun jump! Love it! Way to give Mom a good picture! Enjoy~ Gretchen PS Check out our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/GretchenFawn-Photography/120404961346882 and our website at:www.gretchenfawnphotography.com Or give us a call to schedule your family portrait, senior portraits or wedding! 424-922-2324

A day in the life-homeschooling, naturally minded, photographer mama

I am sitting here, sewing on two Pom poms back onto a pink kitty hat my younger daughter cut off and now my middle daughter wants back on. This was a good time to reflect on my day. Sometimes homeschooling around here means we sit at our table and each kid works through their books while I help and work in the kitchen or on the computer. Those days are fine, not overly inspiring, but fine. Productive.  Today started out as one of those days. I slept in a little, till 8. My littlest came in and went out in a matter of minutes. I was already awake, surveying my body which was feeling a little achey and my heart was too after a rough evening with some friends. I heaved myself up, expecting to have to wake up my kiddos. I didn't feel like getting dressed, but I made myself (in my comfy sweats and my still clean shirt from yesterday), because I knew that the day would begin and I would need to be ready to go drive to lessons. I peeked in my teens room. Surprisingly, she wasn't ther

Winter Photography` We get it done!

We love photography so much, that rain or shine, we get it done! These first images are inside on a cloudy day, pretty low light, but with the right angles, camera setting and a little brightening in the computer, you'd never know!  Now other times, if it's not pouring down rain, we go ahead outside and pretend it's not too cold. You'd be amazed at how nice it really ends up looking even when the person is shivery, we help them bring out their warm side, so to speak. Here are some of those cold, outdoor shots. Someday, for sure, Gretchen Fawn Photography wants to have a studio and can't wait. We sit and dream lots of times about it, but also, love the outdoors and it works for us! Enjoy~ Gretchen
