Large Family Portraits in Nature

We had the privilege to photograph our extended family last weekend. They were all in for the 4th of July. 27 people in all! We went to Great Wolf Lodge, it rained the whole time, but we didn't care because it's all indoors. Then we went to Seattle to sight see and yes, we rode the Duck! Very fun. I would recommend it to everyone. Not kidding. We were laughing almost the whole time. Then a big bbq at Gpa and Gmas with a fireworks finally. Monday, the whole group came out to our neck of the woods. We were out in a wonderful field with barn in our area. I wasn't sure we would get the mountain in because the clouds were blocking the sun, but at the very last minute the sun broke through the clouds and lite up the mountain. Fantastic!!! Families grow and change so much over time, it seems like we hardly notice. Then one day we wake up, they are no longer babies, but now toddlers and on up the line.
