Chris and Chelsea have 4 children, two boys and twin girls. It was a beautiful and warm day. We enjoyed the sunshine at Meadowbrook Farm. A natural open space in Snoqualmie/North Bend area. We often see the huge herd of elk that live in this area. They usually come out at dusk. Chris and Chelsea are so photogenic. Their love radiates. I am so glad I have gotten to know them over the years. They live very near to me in Snoqualmie Ridge. Chelsea is an amazing artist! Iris was so sweet with Chelsea, I love this sweet moment. The picture of Chris and Chelsea is very nice in  b and w too. Chelsea and I have the same curly hair. It sure looks good here! The whole family.  It was just windy enough to blow the balloons away some of the time. The boys, Brennan and Caleb had such a sweet snuggle going on! A loving family, I'm so blessed to know them! I was planning another post for today, but came across these images of our first house and I thought to myself, "that would be fun to share with my fans". We lived in Des Moines, WA in a rental cottage and I got the desire to own our own home when we had our first daughter. After several deals that fell through, we were able to secure this house. It needed a lot of work and thankfully, my Dad is in construction and did a major overhaul for us. When we bought the home, it was 710 square feet and every inch of it was painted a light green color. When I say every inch, I mean every inch. Under the sinks, in the cupboards, all the walls and ceilings. Even the tub was that light green color. After we had our second daughter, our 710 sq ft didn't seem to have enough room for us. I got the idea today to play dress up with my little girl in my wedding dress and have our puppy, Bacca, be the "groom". We were taking some cute shots and he was not cooperating very well. I told Josie to blow on him and we laughed and laughed as we saw what the camera shot that we hadn't seen! Puppy in action! More "serious" pictures to come later. Enjoy~Gretchen

www.GretchenFawnPhotography.com I have to admit, I have never been to see the cherry trees blossoming at UW! I mentioned that I was feeling very inspired on my fb page and I was going to get myself out there. I finally did. I was able to meet my brother Alex, who goes there, and we had a fun time. I was not expecting it to be a tourist attraction on a Sunday. In fact, I was thinking no one would be there on a Sunday at school. I could not have been more wrong. There were so many people, it was hard to get  a picture without 15 or so others in the background. I didn't mind though, because it was about taking in the beauty of these amazing trees and soaking up some sunshine. We walked all around and saw birds nests and other beautiful blossoms too.
