We were trying  to plan and coordinate things with this sweet couple for quite awhile. When I finally got it all set, the day we picked was pouring buckets. We both decided to pray and the next day, the weather was clear and even warm! Thanks Lord! We had a great time with Crystal and Kaayvan, who are expecting their first baby, a boy, in about 11 weeks! She is 29 weeks along and looking so beautiful in her lace outfit. We had several comments on her and Kaayvan's good color coordination on facebook and I have to agree, they are a cute couple! My daughter, Gabi and her friend, Eva. They met a few years ago and they have such a fun time together laughing and talking. They also like to dance on the Wii or Kinec. We just stopped off at this beautiful park in North Bend, WA~ EJ Roberts to catch some fun pictures with the fall leaves on the way to youth group. Enjoy! Gretchen

My Grandpa Tom got to have two birthday celebrations this year because he was turning 90 after all! No, I'm kidding. We have lots of family both near and far and they were not able to make it all at the same time. So we went ahead and had one party with part of the family the week before his birthday and another one on his birthday. It was mid August, the first party, so I imagined it would be very warm and wore a short dress. I was glad that I had grabbed a sweater, because the wind was blowing just enough to make it pretty cold. We enjoyed some fried chicken, delicious fruit and lots of other goodies with Grandpa and it was a delightful time. The next Saturday, his actual birthday, we had another party for him. This was his real birthday. He has 5 kids all together. 4 of the kids were able to make it from three states and my sister, his granddaughter also made it in from Oregon. We enjoyed a very hot day and even needed to find some

Luke, Class of 2013 Joe and I had a wonderful time with Luke and his Mom, Suzi a few weeks ago in Fall City. It's such a great time when you get to work with friends. We spent some time by the river, and then went over to this old hops shed around the corner. I love Fall City, it's so cute. Luke is a great guy too. Guys aren't always too enthusiastic, but I kept telling him they were looking great and he was happy in the end! Enjoy the slide show. Gretchn
