Walking into Seattle {Reinvention}

Looking back through images for inspiration is well, inspiring. Putting them together and imagining an idea in my mind that is surprising, or new, or different. The idea of the little girl on top of the city and glowing outwardly. The play of light across the surface and the shadows. They all intrigue me. Mostly a moment captured in time that will never come again. Photography blesses me with all this and more. Enjoy~ Gretchen

Reinventing and Inspiration

Spring brings out so many things for inspiration and contemplation. There's a place in my heart that yearns for it always to be spring. New growth, new ideas, new plans. But there must be the winter. The hunkering down and enjoying the things one has, though sparse. The inward looking when the outward light is not shining so brightly. The wrestling with hope and self and things unseen. Now,  however, is that time of Spring. Reinventing, reevaluating, rejoicing or even pruning. Weeding out that which is no longer useful. The unseen becomes seen. The old things are made new. I love it! You may not have an idea of what I am talking about. But here is an image that I have been working on tonight that speaks from my heart to yours. Enjoy! Gretchen
