I just got another image ready of the hat picture stream I mentioned in the previous post. This is of our ten year old. I can't believe how fast they are growing up. I want to take some moments and just wrap them up in a present and save them to open later. I guess that's what these pictures are like. Blessings, Gretchen

I get to have some extra fun on my birthday this year with an art show we will be participating in. There will be treats and snacks, there will be local artists, there will be things to look at and things for sale. There will be people to talk to and there will be a drawing! Hope you can come. 10 year olds. I had a lot of fun today photographing my 10 year old daughter. It's one of those in between ages. Not quite a young woman, but not wanting to be a little girl anymore either. Her comment, "I like these Mom, they make me look older." That's how it is isn't it, you want to be older looking when your younger and younger looking when you are older! The truth is that beauty is only skin deep. All the same I enjoy capturing all those sweet smirks, giggles, smiles and looks she sports for me. It still brings me joy every time I shoot and that is why portrait photography is for me! Until next time, Gretchen
