Cupcakes and Cookie decorating with the Girls Choir!

My girls have been a part of the Snoqualmie Valley Girls choir for the last 5 years. My friend Teri was the director when we first moved out here. They have had three other wonderful directors in that time and for the last few years, Laura Edvaldson has done a great job leading the girls with Sandy Hambrick on the piano. They both have special relationships with the girls in the choir! Let me not forget to mention the Madland family, who have been with the choir since the inception years ago! Their daughters have grown up and are now off at college. However, they still have a special place in their hearts for the choir and invited us all over to decorate cookies and cupcakes. It is truly a wonderful time! The girls look forward to it all year and this year, my middle daughter is the one in the choir, but she got to bring her older and her younger sister to join her. We were even serenaded by the Madland girls with some amazing tunes! Thanks to Lee and everyone else who made it a specia

Six siblings!

I had the chance to photograph these beautiful kids! Four girls and two boys. We took these over several days and in several locations near Chattanooga, TN. Enjoy!

Babies, sweet babies {Snoqualmie Portrait Photographer}

I had the chance to photograph, on more than on day, this sweet newborn baby! I was in a warm location (not Washington=) and it was wonderful to work with a newborn. Baby C was 6 days old and he was mostly putty in our hands. We put him in all sorts of places and he was mostly happy to stay there while we took his picture. He will never remember, but I will. It was fun, silly and a little stressful at times, trying to capture all the essence of this little one. I think we did pretty good and I know his family will enjoy the images for years to come. He is #6 of 5. I was able to photograph all the kids, so watch for the next few posts as I share them with you! Blessings, Gretchen
