Last weekend, Joe and I were happy to be able to capture the blessing ceremony of Mike and Helene. They got married in Leavenworth a year ago and wanted to bless their ceremony in the church. They are two wonderful people, funny and in love. It was very  nice to share the special day with them and their joy with each other and their friends and family certainly has not diminished over the last year. The love radiated from them throughout their close friends and family throughout the ceremony and bbq reception. It threatened to rain and we got a little sprinkled, but all went well and I am very glad to share with you these sneek peeks. We are busily working on our images from the weddings of the summer and hope to have them all wrapped up in October which is quickly upon us. We are currently booking for senior pictures for one or two more weeks and also for family Christmas pictures that can be used on the very wonderful, fancy cards we produce. We were so very blessed to join this family both this weekend and the one before that for two weddings!  Amy and Kyle were in Arlington, WA at the beautiful Nature's Connection. They were so cute with their young sweet love and their flip flops. We had a great time taking portraits, the weather was amazing (I got a sunburn=)) and of course, the bride was breathtaking. Here are a few peeks of the day! And then, this weekend, we joined Amy's cousin, Lori for her and Buddy's wedding on Vashon Island. We expected a hot summer day, but we got a little more excitement with a spring like raining off and on day. We enjoyed all the laughs and fun of the day on Vashon. Lori and Buddy were so excited to be getting married and even the rain didn't damper their spirits. The sun came out brightly for the ceremony and it worked out wonderfully! 

It's late, but I couldn't help but choose a few of the hundreds of images we shot today at Cory and Joanna's wedding. We had a wonderful time with them. They are the sweetest young couple, full of joy and expectation for their wonderful future, with the full support and love of both of their families. It was a blessing for us to be there. I just kept saying beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, as I was shooting because everywhere I looked I saw the beauty of the bride and everyone with her. Enjoy! Gretchen

Ok, I admit it, we prayed all week that the Lord would hold back the rain! And he did!! We were able to get all the shots outdoors this morning for Shane and Charity's wedding. We took the pictures before the wedding. Because we were doing this, we made a special plan, we met at another house after Charity got her hair and nails done, took some beautiful portraits of her in her amazing gown and then Shane came by for the "first look". They are such a sweet pair! Then we headed down to the field near the church and shot about 100 images in about 30 minutes or less. Everyone was so beautiful! Enjoy these sneak peeks.
