Senior Girl {Snoqualmie, WA Natural Light Photographer}

We finally got caught up, well almost caught up yesterday with our home and our photography, so now onto posting more to the blog of our recent adventures! The weather has been so very delightful this end of summer and beginning of fall, that we have enjoyed several outdoor sessions in the last few weeks. It's another exciting time of year when seniors are getting their final portraits done. What I notice parents see when they get their children's senior portraits done, is that their child now looks "so grown up!" They get teary and so do I, as I realize how fast time goes by. My own daughter is 16 and growing up so fast. Soon I will take her senior pictures (only one more year), and be the mom tearing up as I watch how grown up she is. SIGH! I don't worry too much, because I plan to be the overly helpful, involved mom and grandma when she someday gets married and has kids. Don't worry, I keep telling her so she won't be surprised! Senior Boy, So much fun! {Snoqualmie, Wa Natural Light Photographer}

Joe and I had a wonderful time getting to know Luke and taking his senior portraits yesterday. Even though they go to our church, we hadn't gotten to know Luke very well. He has a great personality, sense of humor and a very intellectual mind. I enjoyed our hour together and I hope he did too! Pictures were not what he was used to or comfortable with, but we were able to get some wonderful images of this fine young man. His mom told me she doesn't have any pictures of him, so I can't wait to show her all the images we captured. Fun, serious and all things in between. It's beautiful weather here lately, and we shot in Fall City, WA. Such a quaint and down to earth place. Enjoy~ Gretchen

Senior Card {Snoqualmie Natural Light Photographer}

I love this time of year! Taking Senior Portraits! It's so fun to see these young adults, their enthusiasm for life and the hopes they have for their futures. No two are alike. We were blessed to work with Bailey last year. We also got the chance to design a card for her to send out to friends and family. Enjoy! Gretchen
